Trek & Ride Leadership

This expedition is personally led by Aby Aneja (Alpha 01) — filmmaker, athlete, and founder of Being Alive. With a background in directing adventure films and years of living and training in Ladakh, Aby combines storytelling with terrain expertise. He has trained in high-altitude fitness, completed treks like Markha Valley and Kongmaru La (5,270m), and finished the 44km Sarhad Shauryathon in Drass.

His emotional bond with the Indian Army and deep respect for Ladakh’s war legacy adds soul to every trail. Expect war briefings on-site, rescue preparedness, and trail navigation that blends discipline with exploration. Each day is carefully crafted to balance challenge, acclimatisation, and reflection.
