Shadows of Tiger Hill Trek 849m
Duration: 2 Nights / 3 Days | Location: Drass, Ladakh
Difficulty Level: Moderate
"Climb into the shadows of legend—where every step on Pandrass Ridge reveals the raw courage, wild beauty, and untold war stories of Drass’s iconic Tiger Hill."
Experience Overview: Shadows of Tiger Hill
The Tiger Hill Trek is an immersive journey into the legacy of valor and the towering presence of Ladakh’s iconic war peaks. This adventure explores the mythical Pandrass Ridge, rising 849 meters above ground, giving you close-up views of Tiger Hill, Point 4875 (Batra Top), and the snow-flanked spine of the Kargil frontier. As you ascend this formidable ridge, you’ll tread on scarred terrain where bomb craters still whisper stories of sacrifice. Nights are spent under starlit skies, sipping Ladakhi butter tea, listening to tales from the war, and possibly spotting the elusive Himalayan brown bear that roams these valleys. This trek, designed by Alpha 01, blends military history, wilderness tracking, and emotional reverence, with time spent in peaceful villages like Kutial, where you’ll walk riverside trails and tree tunnels that frame the wild beauty of Drass.

Tour Leadership
This trek and tour will be led by Alpha 01 – Aby Aneja, the founder and lead adventurer of Being Alive. Formerly based in Dubai with a career in real estate, Aby transitioned into film direction in Delhi before immersing himself in the high-altitude wilderness of Ladakh. With a background in kickboxing and a passion for outdoor exploration, he has been living and training in Ladakh for over two and a half years. Aby has trekked the Markha Valley, summited Kongmaru La at 5,270 meters, and completed the 44km Sarhad Shauryathon in Drass. His emotional connection to the Kargil War and deep respect for the Indian Army infuse every trek with reverence and reflection. He has spent considerable time researching and mapping significant war peaks in Drass, bringing a layer of depth and precision to every trail.
